“He who has led you so far, will guide you further.” — Rumi

I was thinking of writing something on this book for quite some time and finally today I am penning it down in this blog. Now, I am sure you must have heard a lot on book reading from a lot of successful people or those who are on that path sharing why this is a very important habit for our overall growth. But in today’s blog I will be sharing about a book that really changed my life and helped me find water in the oasis called life if I have to put it that way.

I am glad I developed the habit of reading books since my college days and this habit has really helped me in shaping my intellect, thought process and overall growth as a person. I strongly believe every book has something to share and teach that we don’t know but I felt totally different when I read this book. I am sure by now you must have got the hint — yes I am talking this ancient book which is there for more than 5000 years now and will always be the light for so many lost souls in the dark. This ancient spiritual text is Shri Bhagavad Gita. Calling this text a book is an understatement as per me because it contains the elixir for life and the wisdom, light, guidance, knowledge or what ever you call it to know why and how to make best use of our life.

Now, my purpose of sharing my transformation after reading this book is purely comes from a belief of sharing how this book has brought a 360 degree change in my thought process and added meaning to my life every aspect of my life. I will not get into details but here is some key learnings and value that I abide in my life after reading though I always been a person who follow certain values, principles in life but I am sure as you must have read or heard on Shri Bhagavad Gita — it’s the ultimate guide to fulfilled life.

No soul has ever been the same after reading this book.

This was the time in lockdown March’20 when I don’t have paperbacks to read and I was feeling a bit confused like what I should read since all the online delivery services let alone book delivery were thwarted that time. As I was sitting at my study place I suddenly realize I have one book that I haven’t read and I can utilize this time to read this one. Another reason of reading this book, I was looking for some answers in my life — I was looking for my purpose and was also looking for my startup idea… (yet to be completed)
